Help shouldn't depend on luck.
Canadian-built mobile automotive help. Born in Winnipeg. Now connecting verified local Allies to drivers across Canada and the US.
It started on a frigid Winnipeg evening.
Road Ally was not born in a boardroom. It started on a frigid Winnipeg winter evening when my GPS routed me through a back lane and my wheels sank into the snow. I called CAA and was told the earliest anyone could reach me was four hours away. A neighbour with an F-150 had me free in minutes. It made me ask one question I could not shake: why do we not have more people helping each other? The answer is simple. Safety. We do not stop for strangers we do not know, and stranded drivers do not feel safe accepting help from them.
On a summer evening driving back to Winnipeg from Kenora, I spotted a woman pulled over on the highway with young children in the backseat. She had a flat tire, a spare in the trunk, and no idea how to change it. She had been waiting over two hours. We were done in fifteen minutes. As I drove away, it hit me: in the time she sat there, dozens of drivers had already passed who could have helped. People with the skills, the tools, and the willingness. But no way to know she needed them, and no reason to feel safe stopping.
Help shouldn't depend on luck.
Road Ally connects stranded drivers with nearby vetted Allies: real people already on the road, already close, already verified. Not a call centre hours away. Someone who can actually help right now.
Keep drivers moving.
Road Ally is a peer-to-peer marketplace — we don't employ mechanics or own tow trucks. We connect people who need help with verified local service providers (Allies), so every user is potentially both a Requester and an Ally. We also partner with brick-and-mortar Service Centres so Requesters can drop their vehicle off when that's easier than waiting at the roadside. Our job is to make the match fast, the payment safe, and the outcome fair for everyone.
Vetted, transparent, Canadian-built.
