If you fix cars for a living, your time is inventory. Every hour you spend online without a job, every wrong turn on the way to one, and every January evening reconstructing your earnings from screenshots is inventory you did not sell.
This summer's updates to the Ally side of Road Ally are all aimed at that. Here is what is live now.
Know when your city actually needs you
The home screen now shows demand insights: when requests actually come in near you, by day of the week and hour, based on the last eight weeks of real requests in your area.

If Tuesday evenings are dead in your city and Saturday mornings are not, you should not have to learn that by sitting online through the dead hours. Now you can see it and plan your week around it.
Tax season in one tap
The earnings screen now builds you a tax pack: total jobs, total earnings, total tips, and a month-by-month table for the year, exportable as a CSV from the share sheet. Send it straight to your accountant, or to yourself.
See exactly what a job pays before you take it
Every job offer now shows a payout breakdown: your payout, decomposed across the work the customer booked, before you accept. On scheduled bookings you also see which package the customer purchased, so you arrive knowing whether this is a Standard checklist or a VIP inspection with photo documentation.
A real route to every job
The job screen now draws the actual driving route to the customer, with an ETA computed from that route rather than a straight line on a map. You know what you are committing to before you go en route, and the customer sees an arrival time you can actually hit. Every screen now shows one consistent distance for a job, so the number you accepted on is the number you see everywhere.
Jobs can find you even when you are offline
If a request enters the open pool near you while you are offline, we can now alert you, and going to the job takes you online automatically. You choose whether you want these alerts with a single toggle.
You stopped being online. You did not stop wanting work.
A home screen that keeps you dispatch-ready
The readiness strip on the home screen flags anything that would silently keep jobs away from you before it costs you a job: an open active job, an incomplete payout setup, a document that has expired or is about to. Each one comes with a one-tap fix.
Next to it, badge progress shows the closest badge you have not earned yet, and teams get a weekly and monthly leaderboard.
More kinds of paid work
Two new lines of work came to the platform this summer:
- Roadside tire repair. Most new cars have no spare, and those customers used to be tow jobs. Now they are repair jobs: repair the puncture on site, or fit a replacement when the tire is beyond saving.
- Inspection packages. Pre-purchase inspections now come in Standard, Full and VIP tiers, and the report you produce is delivered to the customer by email with a secure download link.
Same-day scheduled bookings are also open now, so a customer who books at 9am for 2pm today is work you can pick up this afternoon, not tomorrow.
Jobs come in from every channel, and land in one place
Not every stranded driver has our app. Plenty of them just call or text, and our AI dispatcher answers around the clock, in English and French, asks the intake questions, takes payment, and books the job. Same for bookings made on the website.
What matters for you: every one of those jobs lands in your app exactly like an app job, with the same offer, the same lifecycle, and the same payout. The dispatcher does the phone work at 3am so neither of us has to.
Not an Ally yet?
If you are a mechanic, tire tech, or tow operator and you want work that comes to you, you can apply on the website in a few minutes. The app is where the jobs are, but the application does not require it.
