Frequently asked questions
Do I need both sets on rims?
No. If your off-season tires aren't on rims, the Ally can still swap — it just takes a bit longer because each tire has to be unmounted and re-mounted at a partner shop. The booking flow flags this so we send the right Ally.
Will my tires be properly balanced?
Yes. Every wheel coming off gets a balance check, and any rebalancing is included in the up-front price. No surprise re-balance fees.
What if the Ally finds a worn brake or bad tire?
They'll flag it and email you a record with photos. They don't pressure-sell — you decide whether to book follow-up work through Road Ally or take it to your own shop.
Can I store my off-season tires with you?
Tire storage isn't part of the swap service today. Some Service Centres in our network do offer it — we'll recommend one near you if asked.
